“amazingly carnal”
This popped into my head while doing a few things at once today.
I like the hyperbole of it. The idea of a sort of “next level” of carnality. It makes me wonder about the things that would be described as “Amazingly Carnal.” It doesn’t even need italics. Amazingly Carnal? Too sideshow. What about an exclamation point? It doesn’t seem necessary. Adding one - Amazingly Carnal! - makes the pairing seem like something you’d find in a midday infomercial. The kind that are on when you’re home sick and you’ve watched all the SportsCenter you can possibly absorb in one day and there’s nothing else but movies you’re either not interested in or have already seen a dozen times. What if one of those movies was described as “amazingly carnal”? Or even better; was called Amazingly Carnal.
I would watch that movie.
